Washington Gas offers rebates on ENERGY STAR certified natural gas dryers and water heaters as part of our energy efficiency programs in Maryland.
For the retail program, qualifying water heaters and dryers can be purchased by a customer at approved retailers and must be installed using retailer installation services or an EmPOWER Contractor.
Retail Program Rebates

Purchasing at an Approved Retailer
1. The customer must work with the approved retailer for installation services or submit an installation service invoice from an EmPOWER Contractor.
2. Customer can apply for water heater and dyer rebates at the Retail Application website.
3. Customer will receive the rebate for the equipment within 6-8 weeks of completed application.
