Access to reliable, affordable hot water is important when it comes to the comfort of you and your family. Washington Gas offers rebates as a part of our energy efficiency programs in Maryland and can also be combined with manufacturer rebates.
Maryland Washington Gas customers must work with pre-approved contractors in the EmPOWER Contractor Network to qualify for this rebate.

Participation is easy! To qualify for a rebate:
1. Find a participating contractor in our EmPOWER Contractor Network. Already have a contractor? Encourage them to join our network for your new equipment to qualify for our high-efficiency rebates.

2. Have your participating contractor install qualifying high-efficiency equipment.
3. Your participating contractor will submit a rebate application on your behalf.
4. Receive rebate on the contractor invoice or via check in the mail within 6-8 weeks of completed application.

New! Purchase your water heater at an Approval Retailer.

In addition to your $100-400 rebates, qualified ENERGY STAR certified water heaters are also eligible for a $300 federal tax credit.
