AUTHORITY TO INCREASE ITS EXISTING RATES AND CHARGES AND TO REVISE ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR GAS SERVICE

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
On August 18, 2020, Washington Gas Light Company filed an Application for authority to increase its base rates for gas distribution service and to revise the terms and conditions applicable to its gas service in Maryland. The proposed rates for gas distribution service would produce additional annual revenues of $26.8 million.
Two evening hearings for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the Application will be held on January 27, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. via virtual meetings.1 If you would like to speak at the hearings, please send an email to psc.pulj@gmail.com to obtain the meeting link. Anyone wishing to observe the live stream of the public hearings may do so via the Public Utility Law Judge Division’s YouTube Channel.2 Please also direct any questions about the public hearings to psc.pulj@gmail.com.
Written comments on this matter also may be filed on or before February 5, 2021. Comments sent electronically must be submitted through the Commission’s Public Comment Dropbox, which can be accessed through the Commission’s website at www.psc.state.md.us.
