Washington Gas Commercial rebates offer business solutions on how to improve their energy use and improve their bottom line.
The commercial program benefits a variety of industries including industrial facilities, nonprofit organizations, small and large businesses, restaurants, hotels, retail, and medical facilities.
Washington Gas participates in the EmPOWER Maryland program and offers energy efficiency rebates to help offset the costs associated with large equipment upgrades.
Incentive upgrades offered to businesses include:
- Boiler systems
- Steam traps
- Food service equipment
- Wi-Fi thermostats
- Infrared heaters
- Water heaters
Custom Business Solutions: Custom business solutions is available if the high-efficiency equipment is not covered by prescriptive rebates. Potential projects include control systems and envelope measures. Projects are evaluated, and rebates are calculated based on measured energy savings.
The program is designed to be a straightforward process with the assistance of an approved list of contractors provided by Washington Gas.
