In the Matter of the Application of Washington Gas Light Company for Authority to Increase Existing Rates and Charges and to Revise its Terms and Conditions for Gas Service – Case No. 9481
In the Matter of the Application of Washington Gas Light Company for Approval of a New Gas System Strategic Infrastructure Development and Enhancement Plan and Accompanying Cost Recovery Mechanism – Case No. 9486
On May 15, 2018, Washington Gas Light Company filed an application with the Maryland Public Service Commission (MPSC) for authority to increase its base rates for gas distribution service and to revise the terms and conditions applicable to its gas service in Maryland. The new rates, terms and conditions will become effective in mid-December 2018.
On June 15, 2018, Washington Gas Light Company filed an application for approval by the MPSC of the Company’s new gas system strategic infrastructure development and enhancement (STRIDE) plan and accompany cost recovery mechanism to become effective on January 1, 2019.
The MPSC has established joint public hearings on these matters to receive public comment on either or both applications. The public hearings will take place as follows:
