A Message to our Maryland Customers - Purchased Gas Public Hearing

Author's Name

Before the Public Service Commission of Maryland Case No. 9509(n)

The Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) holds a public hearing annually to review changes in natural gas charges that may reflect increases or decreases in the cost of natural gas, along with any supplier refunds.

These costs, which appear on the bill, are passed to customers who buy natural gas from Washington Gas. The Company does not profit on the retail sale of natural gas to its customers. The hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10, 2020, commencing at 9:00am, in the Commission’s 19th Floor Hearing Room, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, Maryland.

The public is invited. Reasonable accommodations will be made at Public Service Commission proceedings for qualified persons with disabilities, if requested five (5) days in advance of the proceeding. Call the Commission at 410-767-8000 or 1-800-4920474 or access the prior numbers through the Maryland Relay Service at 1-800-201-7165.
