Washington Gas Expects Bills to Decrease During Winter and Urges Customers to Prepare for Heating Season

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Washington Gas today announced that customers may experience a decrease of up to 5 percent in heating bills for the coming winter heating season compared to last winter due to the slightly colder-than-normal weather experienced in 2017. Natural gas prices may vary if colder-than-projected temperatures create more demand for natural gas as an energy source.
