Sean Brown

Sean Brown joined AltaGas in 2026 and in his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, he is responsible for financial strategy as well as treasury, corporate development and capital market functions.

Prior to joining AltaGas, Sean served as Gibson Energy’s Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for nine years. Before that, Sean spent fifteen years in investment banking where he provided strategic advice to companies in the energy sector across North America.

Sean holds a Business degree from Acadia University, an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and is a CFA charterholder.
