Jason Weekley

Chief Operating Officer, Utilities and President, Washington Gas

Jason Weekley is Chief Operating Officer, Utilities and President, Washington Gas. In this role, Mr. Weekley is responsible for overseeing and strengthening Washington Gas’ operational functions and leading the work of delivering safe, affordable, reliable energy to the families and businesses we serve every day across the DMV.

Prior to this role, Mr. Weekley served as Senior Vice President, Utility Operations, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable delivery of natural gas services to our customers while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Mr. Weekley has over 30 years of experience in the natural gas and municipal services industries, leading operations, construction, and engineering teams. He has held several senior leadership positions overseeing multi-state operations, large capital and operating budgets, and significant teams, including Senior Vice President and Chief Operations Officer at Summit Utilities and Vice President of Operations at SourceGas.

Mr. Weekley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Louisiana State University. He sits on the Operations Section Managing Committee of the American Gas Association. He also served as an officer in the Army National Guard, including a decorated tour of duty overseas.
