Find A EmPOWER Contractor
Maryland customers must work with a participating contractor in the EmPOWER Contractor Network to qualify for an Existing Home Program rebate. Rebates are available for high-efficiency natural gas home heating, water heating, clothes dryer equipment and furnace tune-up services.
To help you identify qualified contractors, Washington Gas has verified participating contractors’ applicable trade licenses and insurance coverage. Find a participating contractor that fits your needs and make full use of available rebates today.
Getting Started
To get started, use the contractor search tool below to find a qualified participating contractor in the Washington Gas EmPOWER Contractor Network. Enter your zip code and select an equipment category to find a contractor in your neighborhood.
Please note: Washington Gas does not guarantee dealers’ and/or installers’ work and recommends that you check references.
Find a Participating EmPOWER Contractor
Once you’ve selected your contractor,
- Have your participating contractor install the qualifying high-efficiency equipment or complete the service.
- Your participating contractor will submit a rebate application on your behalf.
- Receive rebate on contractor invoice or via check in the mail within 6-8 weeks of completed application.
Already have a contractor that is not listed? Ask them to join the EmPOWER Contractor Network. To qualify for high efficiency rebates, your equipment must be installed by a participating contractor.
