Washington Area Fuel Fund (WAFF)

Hard times can happen to anyone: a sudden job loss, a medical emergency, a pandemic. Many families are forced to choose between food and other essentials and having warm homes. Since 1983, the WAFF program has distributed nearly $33 million to help 308,000 local homes keep their heat on while they get back on their feet. Please help our neighbors stay warm and get back on their feet in times of financial need.

Gift of Warmth

Would you like to assist a friend, neighbor or family member with paying their Washington Gas bill? Supporting the Gift of Warmth program is a thoughtful, practical and convenient gift for any occasion. You can easily make a one-time payment to a specific customer account or contribute toward the general assistance fund. Washington Gas will mail a Gift of Warmth acknowledgment certificate to the recipient.
