Many neighbors in our communities need assistance with energy bills, and you can help by supporting the Washington Area Fuel Fund and Gift of Warmth initiatives. Washington Gas is proud to participate in these programs to help customers stay warm in the winter.

Washington Area Fuel Fund (WAFF)

The Washington Area Fuel Fund (WAFF) was established in 1983. WAFF helps natural gas customers in the DMV region with supplemental assistance for their heating bills. For more information visit https://www.washingtonareafuelfund.org/donate.

Gift of Warmth

Would you like to assist a friend, neighbor or family member with paying their Washington Gas bill? Supporting the Gift of Warmth program is a thoughtful, practical and convenient gift for any occasion. You can easily make a one-time payment to a specific customer account or contribute toward the general assistance fund. Washington Gas will mail a Gift of Warmth acknowledgment certificate to the recipient.
